I had a 5ft black aluminum fence installed in my backyard. Loan Oak was subcontracted to perform the work. The initial time estimate I received was 6 weeks, but the project took 4 1/2 months. The fencing was not initially ordered, and when it was ordered it was ordered incorrectly which led to the delay. I was then told the project would be started on certain dates, but nobody would show when that date arrived. I received no call or text to let me know there was a change in plans. This occurred multiple times. During the fence install, they hit a gas line. My wife and I evacuated with our newborn until it could be repaired. I understand this happens, but the communication for when it was safe to return or when it could be turned back on was poor. The fence had a man gate and a double gate. The double gate was installed at different heights. The rest of the fence is racked, but for the double gate the two panels sit at a 5" height difference. I had delt with the owner on a separate project under a previous company. That project had many issues as well. Had I known that the owner was going to be subcontracted for this project, I would not have used them.
The Lone Oak Fence crew did an awesome job on our Cedar plank 6 foot privacy fence. If you are a proud supporter of local small business's compared to the big competitors you see all over social media this is it! You won’t find better quality, communication, personalization, and interaction with the owner himself. JD is running one hell of an operation and is good people. He was able to put together a plan that brought our vision to life. We are very happy with the quality of work and craftsmanship that this company gave us. It is safe to say if someone asks me for a recommendation on fence installation it will be Lone Oak Fence.
